How to Spot a Phony Chanel Handbag
A large percentage of all Chanel bags originating from the midish 1980's and current must have a hologram sticker along with the corresponding authenticity card.
The holographic sticker will represent a model number that must be identical to the model numbers impressed on the plastic auth card. However, just because an used handbag doesn't have the genuine authenticity card, that fact alone does not automatically mean that the bag is bogus. Very often, due to no real wrongdoing of the auctioneer, the authenticity card could have been lost or misplaced at some point throughout the years, and won't appear with the pocketbook when the handbag is ultimately re-sold on eBay or at another online auction site. Surely the older the pocketbook, the greater the occurrence that the authenticity card could have been misplaced. Purporting that an unavailable card does not inevitably represent a counterfeit pocketbook.
Chanel sticker by the layers: The golden glittery sparkles are a trademark Chanel component and they originated about the middle five series bags. The gold sparkles are placed on the top see-through overlay of the holographic sticker, and will look as if to be randomly dispersed all over the top hologram sticker overlay. This feature will simulate a type of gold glitter. A vertical strip saying: ChanelChanelChanel will be located to the further right of the serial number order. On the opposite side, a semi-wide black line should be situated on the far left of the hologram sitcker.
To do a brief re-cap: A ChanelChanelChanel sequential logo impression to the right of the numbers. A dense black line will be situated to the left of the model numbers. The hologram sticker will be spotted by the well-known golden sparkles, (from mid-late 5 series and beyond).
The lower white hologram sticker film: This layer will be positioned underneath the glittery clear film and will be sliced into a "X" pattern, or a criss-cross pattern. Good luck and careful shopping!
